A practical place for repair, reuse, making and mentoring. Community-focused activities help people develop confidence, learn useful skills and share expertise across generations.
The Workshop is envisaged as a space for practical skills, repairs, upcycling, crafts, engineering and creative projects, where experienced mentors could pass on what they know. It is distinct from the visitor-facing Solent Makers, focusing on community participation rather than demonstrations.
Physical spaces at the Hub are planned to be multi-use and could change throughout the day.
