An immersive maritime heritage experience bringing the people, vessels and stories of Lymington and the Solent to life through film, sound, projection and engaging interpretation.
The Solent Hall is envisaged as the heart of the visitor experience: a double-height space where the town's yacht-building past, the working life of the estuary and the courage of those who sailed from it could be told in ways that feel vivid and personal. Proposed activities include storytelling, guided discovery, maritime history and themed group experiences. Like every space in the Hub, the hall is planned to be multi-use, so it could host different activities at different times of day.
Physical spaces at the Hub are planned to be multi-use and could change throughout the day.
